Client requirements: low maintenance garden no lawns,seasonal interest, seating/dining areas

Design objective: was to create small park land with many inter weaving pathways creating walkways, vistas and utilising the large nature of the site meaning all areas were easily accessable, pathways were lined with membrane and covered with stone as to were the planting areas,the stone also provided a very effective mulch for the plants and the stone  added extra interest to the garden, wide range of plant types used ,herbaceous perrenials, groundcover, herbs, climbers flowering shrubs, trees, and conifers all of helps provide all round seasonal interest,

Two paved areas were constructed and were stratigically placed for easy access from the house and they provided stunning views of the garden and the landscape beyond, planting areas  were incorporated in to the paved areas to soften them, both patios also adequately sized for hosting guests.
